I'm a generally technical person from Canada, mainly focused on programming, software development and IT. Other experience and skillsets of mine are varied; they include accounting, finance and investing, mathematics, and game development.
My career so far has been based in my home native reserve of Six Nations of the Grand River.
My most recent employment has been at Six Nations Fire and Emergency Services, as the Data and Inventory Clerk. I am primarily responsible for implementing physical and software inventory systems, managing fire stations, supplies and equipment. I also assist with finance, IT support and training, community events, and generally being the helpful non-firefighter of the department.
During my university years, I worked at the nonprofit Indspire for two summer terms, handling scholarship and bursary applications for Indigenous Canadian students to help them attend higher education. Before that, I worked at Six Nations Lands and Resources in mapping, gathering, and presenting data for Crown legal cases pertaining to land rights; and at CKRZ Radio as an assistant, ripping music from old CD's, helping with events and with radio ad spots.
I graduated from the University of Toronto at Mississauga in 2022. I majored in Computer Science, with minors in Mathematics and English. Some highlights of my academic career include: making an HTML5 battle royale browser game; designing a MIPS processor and implementing it on an FPGA board; and co-hosting a computer security lecture and demo lab on pentesting and Metasploit.
Aside from more technical computer stuff, some things that I enjoy are making music, sewing, video editing, making websites like this one, mountain biking and snowboarding. I enjoy adventuring around in different spaces, whether they be nerdy hobbies in my room or out in the wide open world.
